World Aids Day is Everyday t-shirt design competition.

Here is one of the 10 winning designs in the scope of the 1st December's World Aids Day. Under a joint initiative by Stop Aids Now Asbl, the Aidsberodung Croix Rouge, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education, a t-shirt design competition with 159 entries was launched several weeks earlier. The winning designs which had been printed onto t-shirts were officially presented at the Musée d'Art Moderne Grand-Duc Jean (MUDAM - Museum of Modern Art Luxembourg). The t-shirts were presented to the public by a photographic presentation of luxembourgish athletes wearing the t-shirt. Photography remained in charge of renowned Eric Chenal. The athletes included: Bob Adam, Darren Bressaglia, Sally Debra, Cynthia Dohn, Mike Girad, Eric Jeitz, Benoît Joachim, Edmond Libens, Jennifer May, Mike and Tom Majerus (seen on the right), Tom Maquel, Mandy Minella (seen on the right), Greg Molitor, Gilles Muller, Mike Scheidweiler and Tessy Scholtes.

A one week bus shelter campaign with photos of the athletes wearing the chosen t-shirts was launched later in the city of luxembourg. The bus shelter campaign was followed by a print campaign that is still running (november 2007).

Special thanks to Christophe Mathgen for his tip regarding this competition.

You can still support this worthy cause by purchasing one of the t-shirts here, or you can win this valenteone™ t-shirt here.
